Expect to hear some noise this week if you live near Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Pierce County.

That’s because JBLM will conduct day and nighttime demolitions training from midnight Monday to 11:59 p.m. Friday, the base announced.

“Live munitions are fired into the artillery impact area on JBLM Main,” Army information reads. “Noise from this training is frequently heard in the surrounding communities, especially those closest to the impact area.”
