Nextflix is about to release Season 3 of its hit docuseries, Full Swing. On the eve of the new season’s release, they unveiled a new trailer.

The 79-second video is solely focused on the biggest golf story in over a decade: Scottie Scheffler’s arrest at the 2024 PGA Championship.

The video opens with Tom Kim being interviewed, expressing his shock as he witnessed his friend being placed in handcuffs.

We then see some previously released video footage of the arrest with Scheffler providing a voice-over.

“First of all, I was freaking out because I went from driving into the golf course to a jail cell. I still don’t really know how that happened, exactly.”

From that moment on, we get a new look of the incident at Valhalla Golf Club.

Scottie Scheffler is the world’s No. 1 golfer. He was arrested last week for allegedly not obeying police commands.

There are, of course, interviews with other PGA Tour stars including Joel Dahmen mixed in. But there is also some new police footage contained in the trailer yet to be seen.

We get to listen in to the conversation between the arresting officer and Scheffler in the back seat of the squad car.

“I’ll be honest, I didn’t think this was a position I’d be in,” Scheffler said.

“Usually, people never do,” the cop responded condescendingly.

A little later in the video, the officer asked Scheffler if he had had anything to drink. That is when the World No. 1 decided to toy with the cops.

“Just mouthwash… I try not to drink too much before I go play golf at 8 am,” said Scheffler sarcastically.

This was the first time it appears as though the police have no idea who they just arrested. But that is confirmed shortly afterward in the video.

“I assume you are pretty good if you are playing in the PGA,” the officer inquires.

Scottie Scheffler is known for taking a self-deprecating approach to his game. So, it was no surprise to hear his response.

“I am all right, yeah.”

If it was not obvious yet how oblivious the officer appears to be, his next question drives that point home.

“Is Tiger as good as they say he is?” the officer asked. Ironically, Scheffler is dominating the PGA Tour at a level not seen since prime Tiger Woods two decades ago.

The tragic part of this story was that it buried the actual news. A vendor at the PGA Championship was killed in a car accident an hour before Scheffler’s arrest.
