According to Adam Schefter by way of Saints head coach Dennis Allen, “Dennis Allen also said that Saints WR Rashid Shaheed will undergo surgery on his meniscus, and he now will be out.”

Shaheed has been ruled out of TNF, but he could also miss the rest of the season, as he is set to have meniscus surgery. Depending on the severity of the meniscus tear, it could end his 2024 season.

Schefter added, “Saints WR Rashid Shaheed’s meniscus surgery Thursday is now expected to determine whether he will be sidelined multiple weeks or for the rest of the season.”
