Macy’s 100th Thanksgiving parade marches on despite the rain in New York City

People gathered in New York City for the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade despite the cold wet weather.

The event marks the 100th year of the parade and featured more than 30 balloons and 20 floats, 11 marching bands, and 10 performance groups.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has been the most-watched entertainment show in the US for the past three years.
