Jimmy Medina Jr said that a TikTok live broadcast prompted generous donations allowed him to buy supplies and to feed people from his hotdog cart.

“Through the power of TikTok, all of our TikTok viewers sent us donations… with their donations, we’re able to buy all the ingredients,” said Mr Medina Jr.

Clothes and other essentials are also being handed out at a donation centre set-up in a car park in Santa Anita Park, Arcadia.
