A drone strike was launched toward the private home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday morning, his spokesperson said.

“The prime minister and his wife were not at the location, and there were no injuries in the incident,” a statement said.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that approximately 55 projectiles were launched by Hezbollah toward Haifa and northern Israel on Saturday, “causing hundreds of thousands of Israelis to spend their weekend running to shelter.”

Netanyahu’s private residence is located in the northern coastal town of Caesarea.
