The Gosselin children are growing up.
Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum Collin Gosselin, 20, posted a rare update about a new phase in life he’s about to begin: becoming the boss of his own power-washing company.
“Gosselin Pressure Washing LLC is ready to tackle that job you’ve been needing to get done!” he boasted on Instagram, revealing he just established the business in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 4.
The former TLC star noted: “With the spring season approaching fast, our goal is to make your home shine, with our pressure washing/soft-wash services.”
And Gosselin emphasized his focus on customer satisfaction. “We prioritize beautifying your home so that all you have to do is admire the shine after we are done!” he assured, wrapping up the post with a playful pun: “Let us take the pressure off your shoulders!”

Collin — who shot to fame in 2009 on TLC’s reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 as one of Jon and Kate Gosselin’s sextuplets — recently shared on Instagram that he was launching the business while simultaneously attending college. After graduating in June 2023, he revealed on social media that he planned to study mechanical and industrial engineering.
On the cable series, the former reality child star and sextuplet was featured with his siblings, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Leah and Joel, as well as their twin sisters, Mady and Cara, now 24.
Jon and Kate, who wed in June 1999 and officially divorced 10 years later, in December 2009, have had a contentious relationship ever since. The parents’ ties with their children have also frayed, with Collin and Hannah living with Jon, while the others reportedly do not communicate with their father.
Collin’s life has changed drastically since he first appeared on television, and he recently opened up about what he claims was a difficult childhood.
“It has taken me a long time to find the strength needed to speak about my mother’s abuse,” he alleged on Instagram, sharing a video of a September 10, 2024 interview he did with The Sun. “I have finally found my voice, and I hope to be the voice for children everywhere facing abuse. It is never OK. Your story can be told, just like mine.”
Kate sent her son to a behavioral health institute in Philadelphia in 2016 for 22 months. In a July 2023 statement to People, she claimed, “For the safety of myself, his brothers and sisters and for his own well-being,” the then-12-year-old boy “was placed in a facility following years of outpatient treatment which proved insufficient for his needs.”
At the time, she alleged to the outlet, Collin had “received multiple psychiatric diagnoses over the years.”
Jon eventually obtained custody of Collin, who wrote on Instagram that he blamed “the system” for failing him when he was younger. He also revealed that he still has an “incredibly difficult” time seeing pictures of himself as a child.
Kate’s lawyer, Richard Puleo, told The Sun that his client did nothing to “intentionally harm” Collin, and she has adamantly denied all allegations of abuse.
