In a viral video, Jakes, while delivering his hour-long sermon at the Potter’s House in Dallas, was seen lowering his microphone and trembling before being assisted by those around him.
The church has not confirmed whether Jakes was hospitalized or provided details about the cause of the incident, but they released a statement on Instagram, stating that Jakes is “stable and under the care of medical professionals.”
Jakes established the 30,000-member megachurch in Dallas, Texas, in 1996.
